A J Plastics Engineering is a 3rd generation family owned Australian plastic engineering business located in Sunshine, Victoria.
In 1959, Alan James Mills opened up A J Engineering as a sole trader. Starting in his backyard, he eventually moved to a factory in Market Road, Sunshine. He originally made concrete test cylinders, before manufacturing centrifugal casting nylon tube and eventually industrial plastics. The business name changed over time ultimately becoming known as A J Plastics Engineering.
Over 50 years later, A J Plastics Engineering has grown substantially from its humble beginnings. We specialise in the manufacture and supply of industrial plastic components, plastic extruded rod and cut to size sheet. Our fully equipped machine shop includes CNC c-axis lathes with bar feeders and 75mm hollow spindle capacity, conventional lathes, mills and routers, a panel saw, planer and 8 extrusion lines.
We service a large variety of industries including construction, engineering, automotive, mining, medical, farming, transport, food and manufacturing.
